In late May 2012, we took a road trip in the Northeastern United States and Atlantic provinces of Canada. It was a unforgettable journey of 18 days, 3,600 miles, crossing 11 states, 3 provinces, and 1 time zone. Below is the map of the route that we took on this trip.
These are some highlights from our trip. In the NE US, we spent some time in Boston, Massachusetts and Cape Cod however, the majority of our trip was in Canada. We were in Boston during Memorial Day and in Boston Common, the oldest city park in the US, hundreds of flags were planted in the park to commemorate the holiday. Both pictures were taken in Boston Common.
We also saw theses delightful flowers, purple sensation allium, blooming in the park.
In Cape Cod, we visited many beaches and stunning lighthouses, most of which are no longer in use.
